Putting Microsoft’s Bid For Yahoo In Perspective
After hearing that Microsoft was walking away from its offer to buy Yahoo, I got to thinking what else they could buy with that kind of mony. Here are some ideas.
For $45 Billion Microsoft could buy. . .
327 F-22 Raptors (instantly have the world's 9th largest Air Force)
Everyone in California, Texas, New York, Florida and Illinois an iPhone
Every other web-related company created in the past 5 years
Wyoming
8 Aircraft carriers (the US only has 11)
Pay for the Iraq war for one football season (playoffs not included)
Hire every hooker in Las Vegas, at $200 per hour, to service every single person living in California . . . twice
Comments
That last would almost make me want to move back to California!
Microsoft with an Air force… Hum, brings a whole new meaning to the term “Hostile Tack Over”
Isn’t it Larry Ellison who has talked about using his fighter plane against Microsoft?
I am glad to see Microsoft refuse to pay Google’s price. Microsfot got this one right.
