Description

Like it’s predecessor, the AirPort Extreme Base Station (PoE/UL 2043) used the Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) technology to run at a frequency of 2.4Ghz with a data rate of 54Mbps.  It also had a range of 150 feet and a capacity of 50 users.  The major upgrade was the Power over Ethernet and compliance with UL 2043 specifications.

History

The AirPort Extreme Base Station (PoE/UL 2043) was virtually identical to the previous model.  The only difference lay in the Power over Ethernet (PoE) and UL 2043 compliance.
