iBook G4 (Early 2004)

A speed bump of the original iBook G4, the iBook G4 (Early 2004) came in three configurations.  The low-end 12.1” configuration ran at 1.0Ghz, had a 30Gb hard drive and 256Mb of RAM.  The midrange 14.1” configuration ran at 1.0Ghz, had a 40Gb hard drive and 256Mb of RAM. The high-end 14.1” configuration ran at 1.2Ghz, had a 60Gb hard drive and 256Mb of RAM.  A slot loading Combo drive was standard and a SuperDrive was available as a Built-to-Order option.


The new iBook G4s had faster processors.  They also had a bigger L2 cache, more standard RAM and faster running combo drives.
