iMac (15” Early 2003)

Introduced: February 2003
Terminated: September 2003

The iMac (15” Early 2003) brought the speed of the iMac up to 1.0Ghz.  It had a 60Gb hard drive and 256Mb of RAM.  It had a CD-RW/DVD-ROM.

The new speed bump of the iMac line also simplified it.  Rather than having three or four models, there were only two, the 15” and the 17”.  The 17” model had a number of upgrades like AirPort Extreme support, internal Bluetooth and Double Data Rate (DDR) RAM.

The 15” configuration was $1299 and the 17” configuration was $1799.
