Description

The Blue and White Macintosh Server G3 was available in a variety of configurations, based on the Blue and White G3.  They were all housed in a new tower-style case that used the same translucent plastic as the iMac and iBook line.  It ran the PowerPC 750 chip at speeds of between 350-450Mhz.  There was a maximum RAM of 1Gb.  It could have up to three 9Gb hard drives or up to three 36Gb hard drives.  It had either a 24x CD-ROM or a 5x DVD-ROM.  It had two FireWire ports in addition to two USB ports.  It had four PCI expansion slots and four internal drive bays.

History

The Blue and White Server G3 was based on the Blue and White Power Mac G3.  It was shipped with bundled server software.
