Description
The StyleWriter II was a single color thermal ink-jet printer. It doubled the speed of the original StyleWriter, capable of producing two pages a minute in the draft mode and one page a minute at best quality. Communication was through a serial port and it had a DPI of 360.

The second addition to the StyleWriter line, the StyleWriter II provided the same high quality with increased speed while retaining a low price.

The StyleWriter II is part of Apple’s line of inkjet serial printers, replacing the original StyleWriter. This model has twice the memory as its predecessor and double the printing speed. I bought StyleWriter II after it’s released in 1993 and I still have it on my house but I haven’t used it anymore. It was just good on that times. ReputationAdvocate

The idea of “distributions” and “projects” doesn’t appeal very much to me, at least if I am not sure that after installing that distribution I still have a standard Drupal installation with which i can do whatever I like. This is why I have never considered Open Publish or Tattler, at least not for flexible projects that need customization. Perhaps if I had one specific project (like an online journal) and I found a perfect distribution for my project I would use it, but not as a customizable solution for a varied community…
