Description

Based on the Quadra 950 motherboard, the Workgroup Server 95 ran a version of Unix called A/UX. It was also able to run the Macintosh operating system. It had a digital tape drive and a PDS card. Additionally, it had an SCSI connection and a 256K level 2 CPU cache.

History

Modeled after the Quadra 950, Workgroup Server 95 benefited from the large size of the Quadra case. Room for large hard drives made it perfect for working as a server.
