I’m thinking about buying a 14 inch ibook G4, but I need it to be wireless, and I have internet in the other room, through Cable, but I don’t know what to buy for a wireless thing, can anyone help?

Emily, welcome to the AppleMatters forums. This is very simple. All you need is to buy an Airport Express or Airport base Station. That will connect to your cable modem and from there transmit a wireless signal. Everything you need to set it up comes on a cd with the airport.

This is of course assuming you have an airport card built in to the iBook.
