I have an PowerBook G4. When i view the memory modules I see two slots.

Is replacing the memory that is in the lower slot as easy as it looks? I plan on taking out the upper memory module in order to replace the lower slot that currently has 256MB RAM with a 1GB.

I have replace RAM on PC laptops and desktops with any issues.

Yes, you can use 1GB with no problems in this machine.
