My latest problem is that my Mac has stopped recognizing me as an administrator.  It used to have the name already filled in the administrator permission box and I just filled in the password.  Now it wants both and won’t accept my name and password as correct.  I tried changing the password after booting up with the leopard installation disk, but it didn’t work.  Basically all administrative functions are locked and I can’t get in.  Under accounts, it lists all accounts as “standard.”
