Hi,
I’m am new , My setup is Quite Meager I had an eMac 1ghz 1gig ram with super drive. but my daughter got jealious because I was always removing spyware and virus’s from her computer and not mine, and any of you who have a 15 year old knows she keep after me until I gave it to her and that keeps her out of my home office and in her room chatting and such.And since I am not married it a great sitter, but my computer setup is as follows:

17in Powerbook 1GHZ 2GIG RAM 100GIG HD 5400RPM
SuperDrive. LACIE External FireWire 160GIG HD, Lacie Dual Layer External -/+ CD/DVD R/RW, M-Audio FireWire Solo External Sound Card. iSight , Mighty Mouse and bluetooth Keyboard

12in PowerBook 1.33GHZ 1.25GiGS RAM SuperDrive

60GIG Ipod Color

P4 3.2 1GIG RAM 2DVD-/+DUAL Layer CD/DVD R/W 120GIG SATA HD ATI X700 Video Card

It’s a nice setup, powerbooks are great, if only they didn’t dent so easily.

I haven’t had a proplem with denting Yet, But from what I have Heard you are correct. But it is such a fine technology I only wonder what will be given up to port to intel chips and how that will effect the future of the Powerbook and the rest of the apple line.
