Astroids ,Galaxian, Galaga, Defender, Dig dug, Pac Man, Doom, Doom2 ,Quake, Quake 2, Hexen 2, Unreal, Diablo, Warcraft, Diablo 2, Warcraft 2, Starcraft!, Heretic 2, Thief, Everquest, Shogun total war, Dark Age of Camelot, Empire Earth, Dungeon Seige, Neverwinter Nights, Worlds of Warcraft.

Some of my favorites. As brick would say, I love game.

If I were to venture out of the Mac realm and back to my Atari/arcade game faves, the standouts would be: Adventure, Warlords, Defender, Zaxxon, Xevious, Time Pilot, Robotron, Smash TV, Dragon’s Lair, Sinistar, Berzerk, Gauntlet, Donkey Kong, Joust, Missile Command, Asteroids, I’m sure many more…

Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and Saga Frontier were very addicting when I first played them.

I played Civ II forever. I like that game, wish there was an osx version. Other faves: Those gold box D&D;games, Diablo I & II, Baldur’s Gate, Warcraft…
Now I have a kid so I don’t have the time for games, I’m not sure that that is a bad thing.

Right now I’m really hooked on the new fable:the lost chapters and half life 2. They’re both amazing games and I would recomend them to anybody.

It wasn’t on Mac but the games that I was completely addicted to were Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 (on PC) and then Fallout: Tactics (PC version) they rocked!

My first addiction was some tank battle game (simple wireframe outlines) then Lemmings, followed by the Civ series and the Myst series. Oh yeah, also Jeopardy and Scrabble.
