I would love to see the iPod mini design implemented across the full line of iPods.
THAT’S truly the design to beat, plus freakin’ AIR MOLECULES wouldn’t scratch them…
I liked the mini design but was always disapointed with how the colors dulled out.
Now if they made a Mini in WHite that would be hott! (Yes hott with 2 Ts!)
No what I mean is when they first announced them, the colors seemed very exciting. But I was disappointed to see that the green and the pink (actually all of them) were not very vibrant. They didnt dull over time., They started off duller than i had hoped it would be.
The Mini design is my least favorite (and I’m not counting the shuffle, which is not worthy of mention IMO). I like the Nano form factor personally, which seems to be the direction they’re going with the full-size iPod as well.
Personally I like the nano, the size is the best but the scratches drive me crazy. i hate spending 40 dollars on freaking ipod “socks” just to keep it from scratching. So the ipod mini was fantastic, they all looked brand new all the time.
The plastic iPods all scratch to one degree or another, now with black, it’s even more apparent.
I think it’s ironic that the look of the iPods are really enticing, but once people get them they throw them in protective casings, most of which are very un-iPod.

I never really liked the minis, myself, but I still own a shuffle, and am satisfied with it.
