I think that would be perfect if you were giving as a gift. Anything that you buy and have engraved (if not for ID purposes) is pretty lame.

Well, okay a few. 

Like connecting your Windows machine directly to the Internet without a firewall.

Believing Jobs when he says there will never be video on an iPod.

Leaking the name of a CIA operative to the media.

Criticizing Apple at Mac Daily News.

Visiting New Jersey.

Shooting a bottlerocket out of your butt.

Appointing your personal attorney as a nominee for the Supreme Court.  You’d have to be a REAL dumbass to pull something like that.  smile

Well, I mean, you get it for free and all that crap, but if you really need a shuffle, and you’re really impatient, I would recommend going to a local reseller. It takes like at least 5 days for apple to move the dam thing to your home. Plus, its so small, nobody will every know u even have an engraving.
