Firefox Sucks!

About a week ago, Firefox released an update, since then it has been crashing on me and there is no option to run it under Rosetta. Has anyone else had this problem? Peace, iMac

With open source software, we all become beta testers. My suggestion would be to try and see if you can download the older version of firefox until they fix whatever bugs are turning up. In any case I would figure that within a month or so they’ll be fixing whatever might be wrong. Of course, I’m just guessing.

Peace, iMac Use firefox 2 then, they fixed many bugs. Or you can use Safari.

The only problem that i experienced with it was the fact that it was a bit of a memory hog, but it seems like they’ve fixed that problem. There are other browsers out there that are great, try Camino.

um.lfc Total Posts: 2 Joined 2007-01-18	Posted: 18 January 2007 09:09 PM I’m using firefox right now, I have used it for about 2 years now, and I love it. Because it is open source, it is probably very easy to have bugs (although, Windows isn’t open source and...). I think they fixed it by now.
