Apple store Macs redirect myspace.com urls to Apple.com

I was jumping around in Safari in the Apple store today and noticed that every myspace url I entered sent me right back to apple.com.  It did NOT do this with any other site, including Youtube.

Weird.

The Apple stores must have been getting one too many visitors coming in just to check their myspace account.

That is very interesting, I dont use MySpace at all so I cant say that I have expierienced this problem. I do think MacNuggets’ idea is good but I think there is more to the reason Apple has blocked MySpace in all of its stores than what we may think.

I was in the Apple store the other day and they are no longer blocking Myspace.  Which turns out to be unfortunate, since several people in there were taking up the computers doing myspace shit.  I had to leave and come back later just so I could check out the 24” iMac because some numbnut was apparently rewriting his entire Myspace page.
