Sharring a DVD via a Network

Hello,
I am new to the networking lingo.  I was wondering if there was a way you could hook two mac computers together, or one mac and one PC, via a direct ethernet connection, or through a network, and watch a single DVD between 2 or more computers.  What options would I have to select and such??  Thank you!!

there really is no way to do this..you both can’t access the drive at the same time....
