I am not sure how much they would charge. If you have a macbookpro, all you have to do to install it is remove the battery and then there are 3 screws to take off and the slot is right there. it is very simple. I know that a local apple retailer (not an offical apple store) charges $35 to install RAM. one of the people at the genius **might** do it for free. here are the instructions that apple publishes to install the RAM (so you can see how easy it is)… http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303491 Please let me know if you are interested.
