In hallways or behind things. Actually there is one behind the Biondi iMac. Didn’t want to bore people with those

Do you guys clean up your workstations just for the photos or are you really that neat?

The correct term is OCD. So yes, I’m always that neat. Although I admit, I posed my iPod and my PSP

This is what my whole Mac workstation looks like. It’s crowded together because I have a PC workstation to the left of this picture. That’s what that other mouse in the corner is for.

Can’t wait until I get my mac(s) and my office reorg completed so I can post. Right now it’s a gigantic paper trap.

What keyboard is that, it looks like someone used a highlighter on an apple keyboard.

Those are keyboard stickers for FCP.

Okay, but do you normally drink soda by the keyboard? And do you normally work in a cluttered desk, with cables everywhere?

Yep on all counts. And I’ve never spilled a drink on my keyboard (yet).
As for the cables, there’s not a lot I can do about that. I have a camcorder, a digital camera, an external HDD, a wired mouse and keyboard, a network cable and speakers all connected to the Mac Mini. And all have to be accessible at all times so it’s harder for me to simply tuck them away.

I have had bad experiences with soda near a keyboard, my keys constantly get stuck now.

My wife once spilled juice on my keyboard. Ironically it was Apple juice. The thing wouldn’t die the easy way. Rather it got sticky then stickier then to the point where you would depress a key and it would rattle off that charcter rapid fire until you eneded up force-quitting. Ever since then I instituted a new food no drink policy around any of the computers.

Where I work we take old computers from people. We were given one of those white Mac USB keyboards that had Coke spilled on it. It was so gross, because it was clear you could see all the hair, Coke and other crap stuck in the thing. Ugh.
I once dropped an aluminum clipboard onto my iBook and snapped off the key. Hehe, also I had worn off the s key somehow (I think because of keyboard shortcuts) so I used my Applecare and now my new one is spanking new.

Unfortunately mine did not have applecare, so I am using it to write this very post.

it was wet already, so why didn’t you try washing it? unplug it and rinse it with warm water, until sugar goes away, then allow it to dry for, say, three weeks and see what happens.

There is no way that would work. Would it
