PS3. Never been into Nintendo since the days of the original NES.
Never liked the original XBOX, nor do I like it’s successor all that much.
Either way though, I’ve made the transition back to PC gaming over console gaming.
1 game is all you need: Battlefield 2

I do not do a lot of console gaming, I perfer the pc. I am going to say 360 for now because that’s the one getting the most use right now but that may change. Chances are we will probably have 2 of the 3 anyway but I am not sure what the other will be.

Wow seems to be a three way tie. Suprising, I didn’t expect anyone to vote for a microsoft product, on an apple site.

I have an xBox that can play emulated games and movies, I was thinking the 360 would also be able to but they’re (M$) pretty confident it won’t be. That being said PS3 will apparenly have Linux preinstalled so maybe it’s going to be better?
Other than that I hear from each company that their’s is more powerful and all that junk. It’s probably the revolution that’ll be the best designed of all of them though.
Sooo… I’ll stick with the old xbox I have now, because it does everything I need.

From what read we can all expect the PS3 to be the best.

I’m not a programmer but from having Linux on it freely it’s going to at least eventually be made into the best. There’s so much licensing and DRM these days you can’t expect anything to be made by a corporation without some sort of limitations. But when it’s GPL it’s usually not caring so much about that stuff. Hazaa

I too am a fan of linux and opensource. I just wish I knew how the performance would be with linux.

I assume well. Why wouldn’t it? Using a state-of-the-art PPC…

Well I meant linux vs. something else, on a game console, never mind the processor.

Versus what else? I’m sorry, not sure what you’re talking about. Another OS that can have people writing their own programs?
