Just found this.

From batterygeeks.com.  It’s a small external pack.  They claim 100 HOURS of extended battery life.  For videos, that’s about 15-20 extra hours of video.  Charges in 3-4 hours.

I’d love to read some reviews of this thing to see if it works as advertised.

At first I thought they were crazy, now I think I want one. What a deal.

I just got the BTI ipod video battery from ib2cool.com- I ordered it Monday last week
and it got here last Friday- to test it, I charged it Friday night and had it play by itself
non-stop--it only stopped working yesterday (Monday)!!

It was only 59.99 with free shpping after I used the ‘podcast’ coupon code-- this thing rocks
it has like 53 hours of playing time for my songs-- and it supposed to be able to play
12 hours of vide too-- it even came with 2 skins, a cradle, and a belt-clip--

I’d reccomend it for anyone- they even have this funyass commercial you can watch
by clikcing a link on the front page.

Check it out ib2cool.com

i’ve looked on ib2cool.com, sounds really good!
i’m intending an overseas order..  as in combination with the player for $330!

Anyway ib2cool doesn’t give to much info about the thing though.
Their probably just too cool for that.

So to you owner(s).., still happy? any complications?
Isn’t it a bit clumsy and big with that extension?

Even if you bring your charger, you still have to rely on having a socket available somewhere. If you’re on a plane (and not flying first class with some sort of adapter), hiking, walking around all day… You just might not have the luxury plugging it in somewhere. Sure, it isn’t as nice looking as without it, but being able to have access to 30-60GB of music and movies for 40-50 hours is worth it in my opinion.
