After my initial reaction of “Ooh! Another thing from Apple that I need to get.” I realized that the iPod HiFi was a big fat NBD. So you can dock your iPod. Whoopee. So it has great sound. Ok.

What I was really craving was a stereo made for the iPod that contained built-in Airtunes. Use that as your hub and wirelessly send your tunes to every room in the house. Now that is something I would buy.

I just bought one and now I’m doubting my decision. Thanks BigMac.

Don’t worry, FZ.  It re-invents the home stereo.  Aren’t you happy about that?

After re-comparing, I am no longer in doubt. It’s a much cheaper alternative to the Panisonic I was looking at.

I find that the Treble is not as good on the Bose.

Since it’s so expensive for my point of view.
What about the D-cell batteries???

I use rechargeable batteries for most of my electronics, but I run my iPod Hifi off of external power.
