  • Add one more to the list... I have been having battery life issues with my Nano. I get about 30 minutes of play time and it lasts about 2 hours if I do not even use it. I of course also have the famous scratch issue, but that is another story. I brought my Nano in and when I told the genius my issue he got rather snooty with me and explained that this was normal. "Huh? Then what good is it?" I asked. The questioning went back and forth... Here is my issue... The apple store was an incredible idea at making Apple products accessible to the public. The problem is that they are not retail stores in the true sense. They are butiques. This means that instead of fixing or reslving issues, they first defend their product, mislead the public and leave crucial information out. Fixing the problem is last on their list. This is the only and last product I will ever buy at the Apple store. Every other apple product I have bought was from a reseller and the cusotomer service has been top noch. Why? My only guess is that they are not tied to Apple. They do not defend Apple's products instead of finding a solution. They just remedy the problem. Other Issues I have: I found out I only had 2 weeks with which to return my Nano, not the 24 some days that was listed on my receipt. If you happen to get a notebook with dead pixels, there must be a clusted of at least 3 together for Apple to replace it. (something the genius conveniently left out...) Apple and ALL their employees need to get there mit and pull their heads out of their ass. Apple is not the only answer out there. They do make mistakes and until their boutique employees understand this they will never have good customer service. They have had some amazing winners that saved their ass.
