It is physically easier to use one hand with the command key than it is to use the control key--unless you plan to use both hands which sort of defeats the purpose of shortcut keys like this. Your fingers have to stretch too far for the control key. Try it. Which is easier? Control+G or Command+G. Try H. Logically, a shortcut key should work quickly and efficiently with one hand and using the meta key furthest from the letter keys is classic Microsoft bad design. I don't buy this point and the Mac did not lose, insulting comments notwithstanding.
