  • I hope it will be a new Apple Newton with a stereo sound like iPod have.
With the mobile Mac OS X operation system. That will kick windows in hard.
    HOPE SO

  • Oh yeah, it would be great if the next version of the iPod - the true video iPod - could record directly from TV…somewhat like the Archos, but Mac cool.

  • Seeing as everybody is saying it:
    - new intel iBook (aka iMacBook, aka MacBook)
    - and/or new intel Mac Mini
    - new [main] ipod w/ new video features.

But also I would like to predict:
    - new Video Airport Express, allowing you to watch iTunes-purchased videos on your TV.
    - A brand new software app, suchlike Logic, Final Cut or Aparture - I wish I could be more specific, but I hope that prediction counts somewhat :p
    - OR changes to previously mentioned software products (considering Apple haven’t actually specified on there being ‘new’ products, I hope this would count as a winning entry in case the biggest announcement was changes to current software. BUT if they do release new products, and also revise current software, you can consider the new products ahead in preference for a win [which I’m sure you would anyway.])
    - new Apple games (not ported games, but rather, newly developed mini-games.) For OS X and/or iPod, and possibly downloadable from iTMS.
    - demo of Leopard (possibly including touch-screen technology wink)

  • More full featured iCal that ties into iLife and media center (TV show scheduling etc.).  Outlook, but better!

I think we’ll see a demo of Leopard also.

  • Nothing too out there. That’s why there isn’t a bigger pool of invites.

It’ll just be the release of the long-rumoured Apple branded ghetto blas… um, boombox with a difference: simple, elegant and (possibily) wireless capabilities.

  • I predict the following:
    ————————————

    1. iTunes:
Gets an update to enable full movie downloads,
Steve announces the first full feature films available via iTunes.
    Announcing iPods selling through iTunes.

    2. Mac Mini:
Will get DVR like qualities, slight design change, include Intel chip. NO dock. this will be linked with / combine of 3.

    3. Airport Express for Video: wireless video and improved audio transmissions.

    4. 1Billion song announcment (not a product, but part of the keynote)

    5. iPod Boombox

    6. Native intel versions of Aperture, final cut pro…

    7. A tease for April first. thats when the BIGGER stuff will come out.

    ——
NO iBook, NO iPod Video, No iTablet.
    but we can dream.

  • I don’t know how many offerings we can make. I’ll start with the obvious.

    1. Movie downloads. Disney movies, even more partnerships with TV Networks.

    2. Apple Bluetooth Earphones

    And the kicker
3.10 gb upgrade on all ipods. And a additonal color of Navy Blue. Similar to the Nintendo DS LIte color schemes.

  • I’d also like to add the Intel Mac Mini.  This is one I’m personally hoping for.

And the iTunes Movie Store or some such iteration of movies available on iTMS.

Btw, I think if you make a wrong prediction, you should have to DONATE an iPod Nano to Hadley.  What do you think?

  • Ok, So I re-read the rules, And If we can only choose one product each to predict, it would be:

    >>> i P o d b o o m b o x <<<

    Why?

    It’s a “new” product…
    It’s a “fun” product…
    It’s “from apple”......

It’s known that certain iPod related products were cut from the last keynote

The term has been trademarked by apple,

Some rumour sites have already posted specs.

    so, here’s my official entry!

  • Only one prediction per person please, if you have entered multiple predictions only the first one will count.

You can always comment on what you think other possibilities will be, but your first guess is the one for the competition and is the only one that will count.

    thanks everyone!

  • My choice for the next product will be a the continuation of Apples efforts to include built in iSight in the Apple displays, wether it be there stand alone displays or a note book product. I had mentioned this to my cousin last year when I purchased my powerbook and low and behold it came true in the Macbook Pro.
