Predict The Next Big Thing And Win An iPod Nano

What is made by Apple, holds a gigabyte of your favorite music, displays pictures, and won’t cost you a cent? The iPod nano the winner of AppleMatter’s latest contest is going to be walking away with. How do you win?

Just tell us one of the products Apple will be releasing on February 28. You don’t have to give specs, but you do have to be within the ballpark of what the product is.

In case of multiple correct predictions the winner will be chosen at random out of all the correct entries.

If no one has the correct prediction the nano will winner will be chosen at random from all entries.

Only one prediction per person please, if you have entered multiple predictions only the first one will count.

  • As an addendum to the iBoom, I believe will include some wi-fi capabilities to wirelessly play tunes from a mac via the airport. Maybe come with a larger screen to watch movies too.

  • Ah, seeing as the rules have been claryfied to only one prediction each, I would like to single out my prediction of:

    new Video Airport Express, allowing you to watch iTunes-purchased videos on your TV.

    Whether that’ll be a winner or not, is another thing smile

  • New version of Mac Mini complete with Front Row, PVR, and wireless capabilities for your viewing pleasure in the living room.

  • Apple will release

    -mac mini intel that will be the center for the livingroom digital hub. DVR, FrontRow, Remote. possibility of an airport express video or built in feature to the mac mini to connect to other macs in the house to act as the hub.

    -Video ipod with a bigger hard drive size than most people will expect. This ipod will also have some sort of an “mini” mac os giving it more cababilities for adress book and other apple apps. Possibly built in camera.

    -intel based ibooks with a duocore but not as fast as the the macbook.

    -Introduction of a new software that hasn’t had a hint dropped yet.

    -Finally the release of an audio interface that will help aide in the recording of podcasting. Most likely will be usb and possible firewire for those who have older macs.

    -the announcement of the purchase of palm, and some products that spin off from the aquisition.

    Specs:
    - Basically an Airport Express + (built-in) FM Radio Remote with built-in speakers and an iPod dock.
    - Can run on standard C/D batteries.
    - With no iPod docked, can be used as remote speakers from iTunes (AirTunes).
    - With an iPod docked, the iPod can be remotely updated.
    - No (or limited) screen.

  • it will be the apple Tablet computer, but branded as a video iPod with the functionality to run osx apps as a bonus feature, the way video was a bonus feature on the 5g iPod.  it will have a ~4inch touchscreen, bluetooth, and onboard speakers. 
    then two days later microsoft will announce their competitor, as advertised on origamiproject.com.  it will sell about 1/10th as many units.
