Apple Studio Display (17” LCD)

The LCD Apple Studio Display was a 17” screen that could be used with a Power Mac G4, a Power Mac G4 Cube with ADC, or a PowerBook G4 with a DVI port and the appropriate adaptor.  It had two USB ports. 


The 17” Studio Display LCD was housed in a clear acryl-plastic case.  It used the new Apple Display Connector (ADC) technology.  The cable could carry both analog and digital video signals, USB data and power.

Introduce in May 2001, the 17” Studio Display LCD was discontinued in June 2004.



  • Install the appropriate driver for any hardware connected to the monitor. Even though the USB port from a device, such as a printer or scanner, is connected to the Studio display, you need to install the driver on the computer itself.-Any Lab Test Now
