Macintosh PowerBook Duo 270c

Introduced: October 1993
Terminated: April 1994

The Macintosh PowerBook Duo 270c expanded on the previous models of the Duo line with the addition of a 68882FPU.  The 33MHz 68030 processor was the same as previous models, but the addition of an active matrix 16-bit screen offered a considerable upgrade.

Like the rest of the Duo line, the Duo 270c was designed to fill the role of both portable computer and desktop computer with the help of the DuoDock.  The upgraded speed and improved screen were available for $3,100.
