  • Not all people who use antivirus software on the Mac are idiots, I don't want my computer to be some kind of "Typhoid Mary", killing any PC it comes in contact with. I've already accidentally spread virus infected files to friends because the PC I copied the files from wasn't running AV software. It is worth it if you're going to transport PC files around.
