MS copies Apple a lot. No doubt about that. They always have & they always will. But Apple copies from MS too. 1. Easy Task switching (alt+tab) appeared on Windows first 2. Sticky menus appeared on Windows first. On MacOS one had to keep the mouse button pressed in order to keep the menu open. MacOS 8 'copied' sticky menus from Windows 3. The close box, maximise & minize buttons on OSX are just like on Windows. If one can remember, the classic MacOS had one close box on the left & a resize button on the right. This was clearly dropped in favour of the Windows like scheme where you have separate buttons for minimize & resize. 4. Context sensitive menus on a right click appeared on Windows first. Apple brought in that feature with OS 8 5. Fast user switching appeared first on Windows. 6. Microsoft was also the first one with the Media Centre concept. Apple clearly came out with their Front Row much later. Dare I say 'copied'? 7. Micorosoft also has Tablet PC OS. So if Apple comes out with something similar in the future, will it or won't it be a 'copy?' Should I go on?.
