  • It would be nice if the Finder's Get Info window supplied data in the "MORE INFO section, Where from:" that you could copy and paste. Right now, this is prevented. It's nice to have the info but it arrives in a worthless format.

12 Things I Hope to See in OS X 10.5, Leopard
  • I’m one of those people who didn’t like the Dock when it first was introduced but I’ve grown to use it constantly. I often might have 20 or 30 open folders on the right hand side, and use CMD-OPT-M a lot. I do very much dislike the way the System handles open folders in the Dock after log-out or a restart. Every folder & file gets thrown out of the Dock and all the windows are open! Why can’t they all just go back into the Dock exactly as they were organized, instead of emerging BACKWARDS (reverse order) and getting tossed out? This is why I use CMD-OPT-M a lot.

Why can't they all just go back into the damned Dock exactly as they were, instead of emerging BACKWARDS (reverse order). This is maddening - for me, anyway.

What OS X Could Learn From Windows
  • The single most annoying element in OS X's window management (IMHO) is the inability to grab a window by it's edges in order to reposition. This ket function must return to the system. It's absurd to be forced to change screen resolutions in order to re-arrange a recalcitrant window that has appeared partly off the screen but cannot be manipulated because the edges (sides) cannot be grabbed.
